The volunteer fire departments of Harris County are forming a Support Group. The purpose of the Support Group is to help support fire fighters on a fire scene or other emergency scenes. The support personnel would be used to set up rehab (rest areas), change out air bottles, provide water, and help establish a safety perimeter. These are just a few of the many jobs fire support personal will do. WE NEED YOUR HELP. Please contact the volunteer fire department that serves your area for further details. First class will be October 12 at 2:00 at the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department.
