AVFD responded to 175 emergency calls last year. Maintains an ISO rating of 4. Has an average response time of 6.0 minutes. The department is 100 percent volunteer and depends  on your donations to operate.

Antioch Volunteer Fire Department newly refurbished US Forestry Tanker working a brush fire on Mountain Hill Road 10/28/16. It has a 3,000 gal tank on an International Body. The tanker can deliver water in a spray pattern while being driven.
